Located in Seymour, Texas

Located about two hours northwest of Dallas, the "Rocket Ranch" outside Seymour, Texas is one of the finest armature launch fields in the country.  The primary launch area is situated on 100 acres with great views of all the pad banks and is surrounded by plenty of space for recovery. 

We offer a 32,000-foot waiver for commercial motors, and a 29,000-foot waiver for research motors.

Our site is complete with wireless launch control electronics as well as multiple high-power launch pads with both 10/10 and 15/15 rails.
We also offer model rocket pads with both rods and rails

The field is complete with electricity and porta-potties.  Camping is allowed on site - but no open fires please!

"Big Tex"is a one of a kind, custom fabricated, Launch Machine!!

It is a trailer mounted, mobile tower, with a 24-foot 20/15 rail and a remote-controlled hydraulic lift system. 
This "One of a Kind" launch pad will easily handle the longest 2-stage project as well as single stage rockets in excess of 200 pounds!!
