July Akroville Launch
I am excited to announce the July launch at the Akroville field. It will be fun to get back to Akroville after some great launches in Seymour
Standard rules will apply for the July launch:
Date: Saturday July 31, 2021
Time: 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Location: Akroville Airport, Waide Rd, Decatur, TX 76234;
GPS Coordinates 33.388341, -97.354824

The entrance to the field is through the Akroville Airport gate on Waide road, which on the east side of the airport.
Follow the TNT launch signs from Waide road.
Waiver: Commercial Motors: 7,000 ft AGL with call-ins to 9000 ft AGL
Research Motors: 6,000 ft AGL with call-ins to 8,000 ft AGL
Motors: Limited to M class or smaller
High Power Flyers: Must produce a current TRA or NAR membership card indicating your certification level
Restrictions: No Sparky Motors - this is a grass field.
Online registration prior to the event is mandatory: No registrations at the field if at all possible
Range Fees:
Low Power Fliers (G and below) Free
Student Members $10.00
TNT Club Members $20.00
Non Club Members $30.00
If you are strictly flying low power - no registration is necessary ... Just come join us at the field and check in at the registration tent.
There will be a port-a-potty on site for the launch. The cost to rent it $200 so, as always, donations toward this are always appreciated.
